Pancake Tuesday

Pancake Tuesday is always a happy event for the community. Under the watchful eye of our convenor  and organizer, Marlene C, about ninety people enjoyed pancakes, sausages, fruit salad, and a beverage for $12. The men of our congregation once again wielded the spatulas and turned out delicious pancakes, while other volunteers served the guests and kept the food coming. Maple syrup was in abundance, as was laughter and great conversation. As we mark the end of Epiphany and enter the introspective season of Lent, the pancake supper was a delicious meal over which to share warm fellowship.
