Annual Bridge Luncheon

Last Thursday, May 7, the ACW of St. Andrew’s again held its annual Bridge Luncheon in the parish hall. A much-loved tradition since the 1970s, it was once again a marvellous success. Thirteen tables of devotees of the game gathered at noon to claim their table, have a delicious lunch and take part in some friendly competition.

Each participant was given a ticket to take part in the draw or have a chance at winning a prize. The two top prize winners, Pat and Elaine, received envelopes with secret amounts!

Sandwiches were prepared by our St. Andrew’s team, and the famous dessert table, offered by the women of the church, was the crowning delight.

Beyond raising important funds for St. Andrew’s, the Bridge Luncheon has become a cherished community tradition — an afternoon filled with laughter, fellowship, and plenty of delicious food.
